I know my Wooster community inside and out. I’ve lived here all my life, and I am absolutely dedicated to helping my neighbors protect what they care about as their local State Farm agent. I opened my agency here more than 40 years ago, and I’m just as driven as I was back in 1983 to help my customers find the right coverage for their lives. We work with people from around the area, including Smithville, Orrville, Apple Creek, Dalton and Marshallville. I built this agency from the ground up by building personal connections, one customer at a time. My approach was informed by my background in playing and coaching football­; I always start by seeing the whole situation and work closely with each person to understand their unique needs and goals. My customers know they are in charge of their plan—I don’t believe in high pressure or the hard push. I work with a friendly, professional team, and together we are always available to answer questions and offer support. I’m a graduate of Bluffton College and got my master’s in education from Ball State. Being part of the Wooster community is an honor. I love giving back to my neighbors and supporting our local first responders. I serve on the New Pittsburgh Fire Department board and the Wooster Hospital board, and chair the hospital finance committee as well. In my free time, you can usually find me tailgating at college football games and enjoying the outdoors. I also love spending time with my wonderful family—with seven children and thirteen grandchildren, reunions tend to be noisy and full of love.
